October meeting: VideoSLR a New Frontier in Imaging
The LADIG is proud to announce our next event – "VideoSLR a New Frontier in Imaging" sponsored by Canon featuring the Canon 5D mark II with Bruce Dorn, renowned photographer, filmmaker, teacher and Explorer of Light.

Bruce will showcase the video capabilities of the new Canon 5D mark II, the camera that is spurring a revolution in filmmaking, bringing incredible high quality motion capture within reach of the average still photographer. He will show how to get started with the video features of this exciting new camera and explore options for expanding its capabilities as well as the unique techniques suited to its features.
Representatives from Canon will on hand to answer questions and give an up close look at the equipment. In addition, Samys Camera will showcase their rental departments support for the videographer, Eizo will have several new monitors of special interest and Red Rock Micro will have examples of their 5D video rig accessories that bring pro DP features to the camera.
